 Kyden Creekpaum

Kyden Creekpaum advises clients in matters involving the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act (FCPA), international anti-corruption law and compliance, anti-money laundering law and compliance, third-party due diligence and internal investigations. He has conducted both broad and targeted in-depth reviews of client operations in the oil and gas, banking and aerospace industries, and has conducted due diligence on business partners, commercial consultants, and joint venture and consortium partners on six continents. Kyden has undertaken this work in the contexts of government investigations and monitorships, mergers and acquisitions, inquiries following whistleblower reports, and in the course of internal compliance system audits and modernizations. Kyden has provided anti-corruption compliance advice with regard to various types of contracts, and has written and reviewed a broad range of internal policies and procedures to help clients meet their obligations with regard to anti-corruption and anti-money laundering compliance in international business. He has also developed anti-corruption training programs and has trained in-house legal personnel on the practical application of international anti-corruption risk management principles to their businesses.
In addition, through a secondment to a banking client in the Middle East with operations across Africa, Kyden provided general in-house legal advice on numerous topics ranging from due diligence activities and compliance policies to corporate wind-downs, corporate secretarial and public disclosure matters, and other matters of corporate governance and structure. During another secondment—this time to a global aerospace and defense company—Kyden contributed to the drafting and revision of a suite of compliance-related policies and procedures.
