Ari Rotenberg

Mr. Rotenberg has over 14 years of transactional experience spanning an array of real estate, banking, development, construction and finance matters. He has represented several financial institutions, Fortune 100 companies and a variety of not-for-profit clients, in their respective capacities as lenders, administrative agents, borrowers, developers, buyers, sellers, franchisees, landlords and tenants, in connection with secured lending transactions (including senior, subordinated and mezzanine loan originations, participations, assignments, sales, securitizations and workouts), as well as acquisitions, dispositions, leasing and construction projects, including matters pertaining to office buildings, medical offices, shopping centers, mixed-use developments, hotels, casinos, marinas, golf courses, restaurants, gas stations, condominiums, cell towers and tax credit investments. Mr. Rotenberg is also a former Adjunct Professor of Law at the DePaul University College of Law, in Chicago, Illinois.            
Prior to joining Frederic Dorwart, Lawyers PLLC in February 2013, Mr. Rotenberg was a Vice President in the Real Estate Managed Assets Group of Wells Fargo Bank, N.A., in Chicago, IL from 2009 to 2013; a senior associate with Sidley Austin LLP, in Chicago, IL from 2004 to 2009; an associate with Field and Goldberg LLC, in Chicago, IL from 2002-2004; and an associate with Neal Gerber and Eisenberg LP, in Chicago, IL from 1999-2002.
Mr. Rotenberg received his J.D., with honors, from The University of Chicago Law School, in Chicago, IL, in 1999. Mr. Rotenberg won multiple American Jurisprudence Awards, and was an Alternate-Finalist in the Charles Evans Hughes Moot Court Competition during his first year of law school. Mr. Rotenberg received his B.A., magna cum laude, in political science from the University of Michigan, in Ann Arbor, MI in 1994.
